If one were to believe in karma, then Haiti has been paying back a huge karmic debt for hundreds of years and in millions of lives. At this point, I’m not sure that Haitians have anything left to give. In case you don’t know, Haiti has been devastated by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake on January 12, 2010, centered near the capital, Port-au-Prince.
