tomorrow is the oral argument on the appeal of the “Atlantic Yards” eminent domain case, Goldstein et al v. Pataki et al.
i refer you to Noman Oder via NoLandGrab to explain this much more eloquently than i can.
if the plaintiffs, Goldstein et al, lose, there is only one other outstanding legal oppurtunity to stop this project. at this point (as i’ve tried to convey with the out-of-focus photo above) it seems like it’s “GO” for Atlantic Yards, but the future is still unclear.
